Home Alone

It was Tall’s birthday the other day. I wanted him to wake up to a surprise so I knocked all the water everywhere and went piggy dipping in the water bowl so I could make paw prints everywhere. I also saw some Colin The Caterpillar cake on the side. It must’ve been for his birthday! So I knocked those onto the floor, broke them into big crumbs, ate what I could and left the sprinkles and chocolate behind so Tall and Long could still have the best bits. I did this all on the carpet too.

Sadly, it was just Long who found me in the morning – ruined the surprise. And she used the loud crumb-eating machine to get rid of the cake… what a waste.

She kept saying “you’ve been so naughty”. I think that’s good? I’ve been rewarded with the weekend to myself!

Please leave suggestions for mischief I can get up to while I am on my own. I think I miss Tall and Long though, they haven’t had any meals for me to sit and reach for. When I am wanting their food I make my face compact in the Y axis so my ears are like airplane wings and my eyes squint. I pretend to stretch my hands or to put them onto Tall and Long as if I were giving them comfort but what they don’t know is that I am actually just using them to grappel myself towards their plates when they look away. This often results in a water gun to the face. I think I’m getting used to it now, it’s quite nice being drenched if it means I can get a bite.

I hope Tall and Long return soon.
